1.BURN ISO IMAGE
Windows 7 has introduces a
feature that the ability to burn
ISO images to CD’s or DVD’s. All you have to do is double-click the
ISO image and burn it on the CD or DVD that’s inserted in
the drive.
- To start, put a blank disk into your optical drive.
- Then, in Windows 7, simply double click on any ISO file/image , which is a virtual image of a physical disk, and select the drive with the blank disk.
- Click ‘Burn’ and your disk will be created. It’s that easy.
2.TROUBLESHOOT PROBLEMS
If some part of Windows 7 is behaving strangely, and you don’t know why :
- Then click Control Panel -> Find and fix problems (or ‘Troubleshooting’) to access the new troubleshooting packs.These are simple wizards that will resolve common problems, check your settings, clean up your system .
3.MAKE YOUR TASKBAR SMALLER
If you feel like the task bar is using too much of your screen space, you can choose to make the icons smaller. To do this,
- Right-click on the Start button, then go to “Properties -> Task bar“ and set it to “Use small icons”.
4. SWITCH TO PROJECTOR
Windows 7 provides a standard way to switch your display from one monitor to another, or a projector . To do this just press Windows key + P or run
DisplaySwitch.exe and choose your preferred display. This will have no effect if you’ve only one display connected.
5. ADD VIDEOS TO START MENU
If you were looking for a faster way to access your videos, then Windows 7 has the right answer for you.
- Right click the Start button.
- Then go to Properties -> Start Menu -> Customize and set the Videos to “Display as a link” and you’re done, you will now find them in the Start Menu.
6.SETTING SCREEN RESOLUTION
Choosing a new screen resolution used to involve locating and browsing through the Display Properties applet. Windows 7 made this simpler.
- Just right-click an empty part of the desktop.
- Select Screen Resolution and you’ll immediately see the appropriate options.
7.FOLDER WITHOUT NAME
If we don’t want to give any name to a folder then we have following steps :
- Remove the old name of folder.
- Then, press and hold down the ALT button and type “1060″.
- Then press enter.
